Hitachi has manufactured ultracentrifuges for many years, they have sold their Ultracentrifuges to Thermo who marketed them as Sorvall™ ultracentrifuges, Hitachi now sells its ultracentrifuges worldwide under its own brand Hitachi Himac with e.g. the new CP-NX series and CS-FNX series.

Hitachi Ultracentrifuges are marketed in Sweden by LabTeamet, which also offers competent service and support through its own Hitachi certified service engineers.

The new CP-NX series and CS-FNX series have some unique features that you will only find in Hitachi ultra centrifuges, such as Rotor Life Management system that allows you to use each rotor up to 10x longer, and does not have to keep a logbook of each rotor as data is stored on each Hitachi ultra centrifuge rotor. Self-locking rotor means that the rotor is secure, it locks automatically on the rotor shaft, it is enough to simply drop the rotor on the shaft and the rest is done automatically. Simple touch screen with simple menus that make operation easier. Low noise level. Clear LEDs on the front with color codes inform you so that you can easily see the status of the centrifuge etc. from a distance.

If you have rotors from your old ultracentrifuges, no problem. Hitachi ultracentrifuges are prepared to run most rotors from different ultracentrifuge brands.
