STANDARD line refrigerators have all the essential features and performance functions required to meet the performance criteria of the DIN 13277 standard. This standard provides the requirements and test specifications for medical and laboratory refrigerators and freezers.

SNAIGĖ medical refrigerators are tested according to EN 60068-3 in order to ensure the stability and constancy of the internal temperature. The test method involves measuring the temperature at 15 different points inside the refrigerator.

STANDARD line refrigerators are manufactured using only non-harmful, nonozone-depleting and non-greenhouse-effect refrigerating and insulating materials. Natural resource-saving materials and electricity from renewable energy sources are used in the refrigerator manufacturing process.

An electronic controller installed in the STANDARD line refrigerators provides continuous monitoring of the temperature inside the refrigerator.

The refrigerator is designed to maintain maximum stable temperature and minimal fluctuations. The maximum possible temperature change within the entire internal space of the refrigerator is only ± 1.8 °C. Thus, the internal microclimate is maintained, creating suitable conditions for the storage of medications and medicines.

The SNAIGĖ smart fan for medical refrigerators operates very efficiently. It turns off as soon as the refrigerator door is opened, so the air circulation in the refrigerator stops. Once the door is closed, the fan starts again and the air circulation is resumed. This fan operation prevents rapid temperature changes and helps to maintain a stable temperature inside the refrigerator, contributing to the preservation of medicines and medications.

The evaporator of the refrigerator has a special cover so that medications and medicines do not have direct contact with the evaporator and do not get cold. In addition, this protection against contact with cold surfaces increases the temperature stability.

In order to ensure the maximum safety of stored medicines and medications, the integrated warning temperature alarm sends a warning signal with sound and image when a certain temperature value exceeds or falls below the set limit.

An additional external sensor can be attached if required for additional control of the temperature of medication storage in the refrigerator. SNAIGĖ medical refrigerators are equipped with a 12.5 mm diameter access for an additional external sensor, which helps avoid any negative effect of the cables of the external sensor on the sealing strip of the door, the tightness of the refrigerator and the risk to the personnel caused by the cables of the sensor.

The horizontal LED strip perfectly illuminates the entire inside of the refrigerator. Clear visibility on all shelves makes it easy to find the necessary medications. Moreover, the interior lighting of SNAIGĖ medical refrigerators is not just efficient – it’s also smart: the light turns on only when the door of the refrigerator is opened. This way, medications are protected from excess light, and most importantly, energy costs are reduced.

The door of the SNAIGĖ medical refrigerator closes automatically, without any risk of the door bouncing. This ensures convenience and safety for medical personnel in their daily use of the refrigerator, and also completely eliminates the risk of the refrigerator door being accidentally left open. The self-closing door contributes to maintaining a stable temperature, as well as supporting the integrity of stored medicines and medications.

SNAIGĖ medical refrigerators are manufactured with door hinges on the right side, although the door opening direction can be easily changed. This can be done independently, as the change does not require additional materials or repair service.

The door sealing strip can be easily replaced independently without additional materials or a repair service.

Furthermore, prior to packing of the finished unit, each one is subjected to full operational performance checks ensuring that the electric system, cooling system and general operation of the unit is within our own tight specifications. All testing is conducted in a designated, semi-automated testing area so we can be absolutely certain that every one of our units meets our customers Safety and Operational expectations. No one SNAIGĖ appliance leaves our plant without being fully checked.
