Films and foils provide your PCR plate with a tight seal, particularlty when heatsealing material is used. Optically clear films, especially the Masterclear^® real-time PCR Film with its superior optical characteristics, are the ideal sealing material of choice for qPCR and other optical assays.

Chemical Resistance

An important criterion is the compatibility of the sealing material with the chemicals used. Eppendorf’s range of sealing systems have been tested for their resistance with a variety of common laboratory substances.
